Hello, I'm Jerome Biggins, the founder, designer and developer behind JayBee Web Design.
'JayBee' is simply my initials, J.B., spelled out.
The idea for JayBee Web Design began in 2014, when I completed web design school and wanted to help businesses establish their presence online. After telling a friend about my new venture, he asked me to build a website for his business. That first project showed me the impact a well-designed website could have on a small business and gave me the confidence to continue helping other business owners establish their presence online. In 2015, JayBee Web Design officially launched. Since then, I've helped small businesses establish their brands online by creating websites designed to attract visitors, build trust, and turn visitors into potential customers.
But over the years, I noticed something else. Building a website is only the beginning.
Many business owners aren't sure what to do once their website launches. Websites need ongoing updates, maintenance, troubleshooting, and improvements to continue supporting a business and generating leads. That realization led me to shift my focus in 2025 toward helping small business owners not only build their websites, but keep them working for their businesses.
Today, JayBee Web Design provides website design, ongoing website support and maintenance, and website audits that help business owners understand what's working, what isn't, and where their website can be improved.
My goal is simple: to give small business owners a website they can rely on—without having to figure it all out themselves.
When I'm not working on websites, you can find me working out, reading books, or trying new baking recipes.
The first meeting is where I meet with you and learn about your business, your target audience, your goals and the issues you've experienced since launchihng your website.
Next step is where I work with you to determine your website needs, and how they can help you achieve the goals you have for your website (i.e.: generate leads).
This is the stage where I create the visual user exerpience of the website. This consists of drawing the structure called a 'wireframe'. Then once approved, I move on to designing the prototype where I create the visual design of the website. Once the testing is completed and approved, I move on to the development stage where I build the website.
This step is where I take the approved prototype and convert it into a fully functioning website. I also optimize the website for search engines, and test it to ensure it works properly on all devices.
After the website is built, tested, and approved, I launch it for the public to see.
Our relationship doesn't end after the launch. I will continue to provide support and maintenance for your website to ensure it continues to work properly and meet your business needs.
Whether you're starting from scratch, ready for a redesign, or simply need someone you can rely on to keep your website running smoothly, JayBee Web Design is here to help.
